so here’s the first half of the pictures from my karaoke party back on my birthday. thanks to mike’s really expensive lens we got sort-of-okay pictures. which, with dimness and drunkenness and limited equipment, well, what do you want.<\/p>\n

for some reason ken takes a break in the middle of singing this to talk to laura. unfortunately when he talks to other women his hands explode. it’s a gypsy curse thing.<\/p>\n

this is about when Drunken Hyper Mario begins to emerge. he’s a good singer.<\/p>\n

i photoshopped this because i liked ken’s total nonchalance to mario’s emotional musical breakdown. that really did happen, but now the picture reflects that wonderful moment all the more.<\/p>\n

so i gave him a guinea pig. at first he was ambivalent…<\/p>\n

but soon he warmed up to stark.<\/p>\n

taken by laura. at some point we decided, “ok, ‘bohemian rhapsody.'” i think this is when freddie mercury is wailing that he doesn’t want to die. the only way you can truly tell i’m drunk from this picture is that i took my drink with me. singing from the floor during an epic moment is ALWAYS a good idea.<\/p>\n
